HEMAM Learning Difficulties Centre carefully designs individual treatments and educational plans comprised of behaviour reduction and skill acquisition programmes using Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy (SLT).
These supplementary therapies are applied in an effort to maximize learning and life skill potential. They are conducted with a solid focus on enabling children to attend mainstream schools and classes with their peers.
Hemam Learning Difficulties Centre is located within a mainstream school environment, which provides students the opportunity to witness and experience the students and surroundings of a typical educational environment. This helps to encourage, motivate and prepare the child for mainstream school.
HEMAM is also center-based whereby we also provide one-to-one therapy.
