Hemam provides early intervention and school-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Delays. Our center is situated inside mainstream schools which allows for a collaborative and gradual integration into mainstream classes. Children are given the opportunity to become familiar with the school environment, build independence in classroom settings, and learn both academic and social skills with their age-level peers.
At Hemam we proliferate diverse culture of professional excellence and caring through British & American school curriculum and the broader community. We believe that sharing information and resources is fundamental to developing a shared understanding of best practice in education and therapy services supporting the learning of childrens with Autism. And that's what we are doing by integrating us with mainstream school.

ABA Therapy aka Applied Behavior Analysis is a therapeutic modality based on the principles of human behavior. ABA is the foremost evidence-based treatment for children with Autism, ADHD and Developmental Delays. At Hemam Autism & Special needs school, we design our programs to utilize teaching techniques that have been scientifically proven to be the most effective.
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) are developed for students exhibiting challenging behaviors including but not limited to: tantrums, aggression, self-injury, property destruction, task-refusal, and food-refusal. BIP development includes an interview with parent and/or teachers, observation of the student, a report outlining recommended intervention strategies for reducing rates of challenging behavior, and review of and training on the recommendations with the student’s parents and/or teachers.
The Occupational Therapist is concerned with analyzing the child's ability to perform in everyday contexts. The goal at Hemam is to improve the child's functional performance and to enhance the child's ability to interact within his/her physical and social environments.
Speech and Language Therapy addresses challenges with communication and language. It can help children with Austism/Developmental Delays improve their nonverbal, verbal and social communication. The overall goal of Speech and Language therapy at Hemam is to to help the children communicate in more useful and functional ways.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a pervasive developmental disorder that affects behavior and communication of the child. Although autism can be diagnosed at any stage of life, it is said to be a “developmental disorder” because in most cases symptoms generally appear in the first two years of child's life.
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a neurological disorder that causes a range of behavior problems such as difficulty attending to instruction, keeping up with assignments, following instructions, focusing on schoolwork, social interaction and completing tasks.
People with a Pathological Demand Avoidance profile share difficulties with others on the autism spectrum in social interaction, social communication and restricted and repetitive patterns of behaviours, activities or interests
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that involves difficulty in reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words (decoding). Also called reading disability, dyslexia affects areas of the brain that process language
Dyspraxia refers to development disorder cause trouble with activities require coordination and movement.
Global Developmental Delay (GDD) a condition that occurs during the developmental period of a child between birth and 18 years. It is usually defined by the child being diagnosed with having a lower intellectual functioning than what is perceived as ‘normal’ and the prospectus will have significant limitations in communication.
